World Hearing Day is held on March 3 each year to raise awareness of how to prevent deafness and hearing loss and to promote ear and hearing care across the world. The Global Foundation for Children With Hearing Loss is proud to be a member of the WHO World Hearing Forum and support the WHO vision of “a world where everyone – including those at risk of, or living with, hearing loss – can achieve their full potential.” Our focus has always been on young children living in low resource countries who are deaf or hard of hearing. We work to ensure they have the local support and expertise they need to learn to listen and speak – no matter where in the world they live.
