The Global Foundation For Children With Hearing Loss spent January in Vietnam continuing our work. We provided training in auditory-verbal practice for over 50 teachers and therapists based throughout Northern and Southern Vietnam who work with children with hearing loss and their families.  We employ a “train the trainer” approach so that some of those we train are prepared to train others in Vietnam.

The Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences (part of the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training) also has asked our support with preparing future teachers and therapists to help children with hearing loss learning to listen and talk.

The Global Foundation professional team will return to Vietnam this July 2018 to continue teaching its curriculum. In the meantime, we are helping Vietnamese participants enrolled in our program progress their skills through video analysis.
